I am simply blown away by the service I received today from Jeff. I looked up in my town community FB page to see if anyone sourced recommendations for Plumbers (I had no hot water) – they did and Jeff was repeatedly mentioned. That was enough for me – I called just him, left a message and he responded within 10 minutes and said he could be there as he was wrapping up a job. I was actually getting an oil change, so wasn’t home (never expected that anyone could come right away), but he said to text him when I left, which I did. He showed up about 5 minutes after I got home, assessed the problem, and made recommendations. Either repair the hot water heater, or get a new one, and based on the condition, repairing would only band-aid the problem (damn New England water)! So, I opted for a new water heater. One magically appeared, and was installed right away. Jeff was literally in and out of here in less than 90 minutes all done, today! He was SUPER friendly, answered my questions, fix some water pressure issues, and made a few other recommendations when/if I’m ready – nothing urgent or that is required (nice to haves). I wasn’t expecting a new water heater, but price was good as well. He’s my go-to, and even better he works with Ryan Murphy Heating & Cooling which I use for my Heating/HVAC as well. Super happy, and HIGHLY recommended.

A Bit Long But Worth the Read
Jeff has done a lot of work for us over the years as our original equipment either wore out (first a water heater then later, a water tank, and, much later, a softener) or was damaged by lightning (I’m looking at you, water pump)!
This latest project was for a propane heater in the basement
that needed a gas line brought into the house from the new tank outside.
The heating store said the gas line-in was a plumber’s job and, after a bit of discussion, we discovered he works with Jeff on a lot of his installations.
Perfect!
We live in an unusual house with a lot of angles (a geodesic dome!) and I was worried about where the pipe had to come into the house and how it would get through the new vinyl siding without damaging it.
What a waste of worrying.
Jeff arrived right on time and looked over the situation, inside and out. I threw out a few possibilities while he looked thoughtful. He went outside again, came back in, thought a moment more, and asked about what I thought about the pipe coming straight through that wall outside, over to this joist, then down the edge of the wall.
He suggested two extra valve taps for possible future use, which made sense to me, and would mount the manifold here on the wall.
I blinked at how easily he found a solution. It was with that same quiet competence he had the other times he did work for us. I told him it sounded perfect and to go for it.
When I asked if he needed anything from me or if I could go take a coffee break, he told me to go enjoy my coffee. So I went upstairs to get a cup and to Google what a manifold was.
It took a while to get done but I came downstairs to find the layout in the photo here. Solid as a rock on the wall, the hole outside, through the siding, was clean and neatly caulked. A truly great looking installation.
I’m sure this is more than anyone wanted to read but I know the value of an honest recommendation. In today’s day and age, when you find someone you can trust to do a good job you want to tell everyone you can.
Bottom line, if you need plumbing work of any kind, call Jeff and it will get done right.
